PORTFOLIO | ARTIST RESUME


For my MFA thesis show in 2004 I purchased 20 billboards in the DFW Metroplex on which I presented two different images. I made a film, Adrift, and had a studio show, all of it centered around my thesis of ‘The Creation of Personal Identity in a Consumer Culture.” My resume covers my recent exhibits and reviews.

 

I took my first photograph when I was 9 and I was hooked. I shot it, developed the negative and printed the final image; a photo of me in my CUB SCOUT UNIFORM. It was a Christmas present for my mom. My teacher was Mr. Secrest, a neighbor in Takoma Park, Maryland. Thank you Mr. Secrest, wherever you are.

I have worked in the Film and Television industry for the past 32 years, as a Cinematographer, 1st AC, 2nd AC, Camera operator, Photojournalist, AVID Certified trainer and Editor, as well as an Actor and Director.
